Had another welder install 2 vertical posts that needed better bracing and structural support. Mike had the perfect solution with bracing the rear post and integrating with the gate on the trailer with a locking pin when traveling and being able to unlatch to use gate when needed. Brought both posts down and integrated with bed of trailer frame metal and welded to top rail for extra support. 1000% better!

THE "MR. FIX IT" OF WELDING
Mike's Welding is a small, family-owned welding shop just northeast of Pawnee, Illinois, on Cotton Hill Road. Mike has been welding since he was 17 — it's truly in his blood.
"My dad, Gene Sharp, was an iron worker, and his brothers were too. They came out of Chicago. I was born in Arlington Heights."
Mike has run his shop at this location for five years, and prior to that he worked out of Springfield, South Grand, and Dirksen. Mostly a one-man operation, Mike is mobile and does service calls for both homes and businesses throughout the area.
Running the shop from home has worked out wonderfully. Mike sells steel, welding supplies, trailer parts, and even fixes small welding machines. He's dedicated, affordable, and known for honest, reliable work.
The Village of Pawnee recently featured Mike and his family legacy in a local write-up highlighting his craftsmanship and commitment to the community.
